Why does Phil miss so many fairways?

The Somax Performance Institute measured why Phil Mickelson missed more than 60% of his fairways at Torrey Pines this year, and they found that he changed his axis of rotation 400% between address and impact, the biggest change they have ever measured.

They have offered some changes in set up that could help Phil keep his drives in the fairway, shoot lower scores, and win more tournaments.
 
Although the video is interesting, I'm not sure the multi-millionaire with mansions, a private jet, 30-some wins and four majors is paying close attention.
