So finally Tiger Woods has hit some good form after the last few months of meltdowns and pretty average rounds of golf. He showed in The Masters last week that he possibly still has what it takes to win majors when some people had doubted that he would ever come back to form. Leading the tournament for a short while on the final day, I for one was shocked that he might actually go on to win the Masters. As it happened, we all know that he didn't and Charl Schwartzl of South Africa took the title after Rory McIlroy had a last day meltdown, but at least he showed that he was still in contention.
So, William Hill have him as favourite to win the US Open which takes place from 16-19th June at Bethesda, Maryland. The odds on Tiger Woods winning the US Open currently stand at 6-1 with Phil Mickleson at 8-1, Luke Donald at 14-1 and Lee Westwood at 16-1. Rory McIlroy, who is determined to come back from his last day meltdown at the Masters, is at 25-1.
