News 1: Icon Course, Mission Hills Golf Resort, China: Design Your Own Golf Hole

Mission Hills Golf Resort, the host of the 2011 World Cup, will add with the Icon Course another course to its 10 other courses. To set the new layout of the Icon Course, Mission Hills invites amateur golf designers to submit bold and daring conceptual plans for a par 3, par 4 or par 5 hole. Submissions will be judged on playability and construction-feasibility and amateur designer are encouraged to be as creative as possible. Winners will receive a free trip to Hainan with three guests and lifetime passes to play unlimited golf on the Icon Course. The competition will close on February 28, 2011. This is a unique opportunity for all amateur golf hole designers!
